About us
We are a group of women from all over the world that help queer women of North Caucasus to avoid and/or free themselves from violence. We help women to fight for their rights to be free and independent.
We’ve been helping queer women from North Caucasus since 2017.
In 2018 we conducted our first research study “Violence Against Lesbian, Bisexual and Transgender Women in the North Caucasus Region.”
Gradually we started to develop a network of supporters of the QWNC project. We also tried to learn as much as possible about the problems faced by the LGBTQ community.
The first strategic meeting of the supporters of QWNC took place in August of 2019. At the meeting we had productive discussions and developed strong connections.
In 2020 we substantially expanded our reach to the target group. This allowed us to conduct our second research study: “Survival Strategies of Homosexual and Bisexual Women and Transgender Persons in the North Caucasus” that was presented in July of 2020.
What we do
We consult, provide legal and psychological support, help women find safe housing and begin a new life.
We recognize that each woman’s story is unique and approach each situation individually.
Contact us if you live in the North Caucasus, face violence and would like to change your situation. We will try our best to help you.
